It was built as a two-storey house with an attic space in 1904-1905 by the District Credit Union in Benešov according to the project of local builder Marcel Dusil. The façade with rich floral patterns is dominated by a relief of the emblem of the Kingdom of Bohemia and the façade is topped with sculptures of two fireflies.
